Slowly but surely I've been going through my closet to inventory what I have and what pieces I need to help me decide what to purchase. Since I can only purchase 3 more items until the end of March, I wanted to be thoughtful about my choices and pick classic pieces.
In the midst of all the clothes and shoes, (not surprisingly :P ) I ended up playing dress up and put together this outfit. I love the pleats and the fun details of the skirt and decided to pair it with casual and feminine pieces. In the past I typically would have paired the skirt with a simple and plain top but since I was playing dress up, my sense of fun and experimenting kicked into high gear and I reached for pieces I wouldn't have before. What do you think? I thought this outfit was fun and could be worn out to a party. :)
Funny thing is that I was close to donating this skirt and necklace since I wasn't wearing it often but I'm glad I didn't. Here's to rediscovering pieces that are already in my closet and giving them new life.
